Further to my letter of 4 December 2001, I write to inform you that the relevant United Nations Security Council Committee has updated the lists of names designated to be individuals and entities of the Taliban and Taliban undertakings, as well as those connected with Usama bin Laden. The new lists were gazetted and came into effect on 11 January 2002 in accordance with the two captioned Regulations. Copies of the lists are at Annex (GN260, GN261).
